How it began
The story of Bellas began in 2018, when founder Jeannette-Renée Mang was searching for the perfect flat shoes during her travels across Italy for wedding locations. Working as a wedding and event manager, she needed shoes that were both comfortable and stylish – suitable for long days in a demanding environment. Yet the combination of elegance, comfort, and a fair price point was hard to find.
In the heart of Tuscany, she finally discovered what she had been looking for. To this day, most Bellas shoes are still produced there, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
In one of Italy’s renowned leather regions, we work closely with a family-run manufacturer that has been processing high-quality suede since 1997 for our loafers and ballerinas.
Over the years, our network has grown to include multiple manufacturers. Today, Bellas produces across more than 20 carefully selected workshops in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
